Details...

NemoNEMO is Nightwish’s very first CD to be released by Nuclear Blast and you could say that, for a first CD, the German record company made things big! No less than 4 versions were released (twice as much if you make a difference between "Spinefarm Records" and  "Nuclear Blast"  versions, and even more if you consider import CDs), a promo CD, tee-shirts and even a poster !

Nemo history:
After the release of their second DVD, End of Innocence, the band went back to the studios to record their 5th album: Once. A few months later, the title of the first single was announced: NEMO. Knowing how passionate Tuomas is about Disney’s world, there were many hypothesis and speculations about the theme dealt with in the song. Eventually, we learnt that the song had nothing to do with a certain clown-fish, but that NEMO was a song dealing with questioning oneself: “I know where I am from, but who am I and where am I going?” As a matter of fact, NEMO is a Latin word meaning “no one”. For the record, the cover does look like the “Pirates of the Caribbean” poster and it was done on purpose since the band (Tuomas especially) loves the movie !

Once and for all
