Although the tracklisting is disappointing (the live songs are only taken from "Dark Passion Play" and the bonus and videos are already available on several other CD/DVD...), one can at least be content with the rather large number of tracks that could justify the cost of this MCD (which corresponds to the cost of a regular CD - between 15 ans 17 Euros).

Nightwish is on the cover of the latest issue of "hors-série Rock One" !

Inside, you'll find an interview with Tuomas and several posters and post cards picturing the band.

Among other things, we learn in the interview that Nightwish is planning to make some changes in their set-list for 2009 (as opposed to the concerts in 2008) and add "new visual effects". Tuomas adds that he's not sure whether or not they will still play songs like "Nemo" of "Wishmaster".

Finaly, the band has just been announced as part of M'era Luna 2009.

Finally, the release of "Made in Hong-Kong" is delayed. New release date is 13/03/2009 !

The mailorder edition (Boxset) of "Made In Hong-Kong" has been cancelled by Nuclear BlastRelease dates for the MCD+DVD and DVD+MCD versions are unchanged.

In an interview given to the Finnish women’s magazine Menaiset, Anette goes back on the last weeks of the 2008 tour, and especially on the concert in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, during which the singer left the stage while they were playing “The Poet And The Pendulum”, with the official excuse that the excessive amount of smoke was preventing her from singing in good conditions. In the interview, Anette says that her walking off stage was also caused by the atmosphere among the band that had gone to a negative extreme, along with stress and being away from home and from her son.

"The guys have had ten years of experience in this business, I only have two years under my belt. When people become tired of each other, they become alienated from one another. Every group needs a war sometimes and we hadn't had one in the entire time I have been in the band. We spent our time tiptoeing around each other rather than arguing."

In order to improve things, Anette decided to hire a personal manager (like Tarja did a few years ago).

The fact that the manager was Swedish helped Anette to resolve many things. Despite what she had thought at first, working in an English environment has been more complicated than expected for her. Moreover, Nightwish’s management knew the guys better and served them more than it served her.

Anette thinks that her decision to hire a personal manager will make things simpler in the band. She will now have someone to deal with her specific needs and avoid further tension with the rest of the band.

« I now understand that Tarja Turunen surely had a good reason to have her own manager and so do I. That doesn't affect my desire to be in the band, though. I believe this decision will help all of us. »

Nightwish’s  “European Déjà-Vu”  Tour will start on March 11th in London, U.K., and will then come to France in March 23rd and 24th 2009.

Pain and Indica will support Nightwish on the entire European Tour.

- The price of the boxset of "Made In Hong-Kong" has just changed from 34,99 euros to... 49,99 euros. As we still don't have any clues about its content, let's hope this price will be justified soon !

- Pain's new single, "Follow Me", in duet with Anette, is available on the Nuclear Blast Music Shop. The single contains a version of the song sang by Anette only !

- the Moscow show is cancelled. The local promoter (JC-SOUND) was unable to fulfill every detail in the mutual Agreement for the show.

- New The Rasmus's album is out. A duet with Anette was planned but finally the song is not in the tracklisting, because it didn't fit with the album's concept. But the song will maybe be released in the next months as a B-side, in one of their next singles.

- Releases of "Special Deluxe Edition" (Europe) and "Special French Edition" (France only) of "Dark Passion Play" have been delayed to 17th and 20th of October.

The 4 last shows in USA have been cancelled due to Anette's sudden severe illness. We don't have any more official info about this. We wish her a good recovery !

Another news : Nightwish changed their live setlist : the show now begins with "7 Days To The Wolves" instead of "Bye Bye Beautiful" !

The French Rap Artist Tunisiano used several parts from Ever Dream in his new single called "Je Porte Plainte". Spinefarm Records confirmed to us that he did it without any authorization of the band or of the label. Spinefarm has already contacted Tunisiano for him to pay his dues. A situation quite ironic when you hear the lyrics of the song...

In other news, the "Special Deluxe Edition" of Dark Passion Play won't be released in France, cause it will be replaced by a "Special French Edition", which will be quite the same.

Nuclear Blast will release a new edition for "Dark Passion Play", entitled "Special Deluxe Edition". This limited edition will come in a box containing the album and the 2 singles from "Amaranth" (Part I & II). (Like the previous limited box of "Once/Nemo" or "Once/WIHAA")

This box will be released on October 4th.
